ABOUT THE SPEAKER :

Dr. Melanie Pires( B.P.T. , M.P.T.)

⦁ Studied bachelor’s and master’s Physiotherapy at Fr Muller Medical College Mangalore for 6.5 yrs.
⦁ Masters in Physiotherapy in Neurological and psychosomatic disorders.
⦁ Treating conditions of neurological, musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory and sports.
⦁ Worked for hospitals like Manipal hospital Goa, followed by Salgaocars Medical Research Center (SMRC) at Vasco.
⦁ Then moved to Salgaocars senior mens football team as sports Physiotherapist.
⦁ Have thereafter been associated with various sports clubs including FC Goa.
⦁ Have been running Physiotherapy Clinic since 2018.
⦁ Currently running my Clinic named Kinesis Physiotherapy Clinic at Margao.
⦁ Member of an NGO named Parkinson’s Society Goa catering to patients with Parkinson’s Disease
⦁ Offers home visits for the disabled patients, online consultation
⦁ Conducted various talks on Physiotherapy and health for the general public, Conducted online group exercise sessions for the elderly
