Nella moderna pratica il professionista odontoiatra è chiamato a dover saper affrontare le principali urgenze mediche che si possono verificare in ambulatorio anche indipendentemente dalla sua diretta attività clinica e procedurale. Conseguentemente è necessario che sia equipaggiato per gestire nell’immediatezze queste situazioni, che in alcuni casi possono mettere in pericolo la vita stessa del paziente.

Il monitoraggio di una serie di parametri vitali e l’utilizzo di alcuni farmaci di semplice impiego possono offrire un sostanziale vantaggio terapeutico e consentire di affrontare la maggior parte delle emergenze in attesa dei soccorsi avanzati.

L’odontoiatra e il personale di assistenza presente in ambulatorio devono essere preparati a riconoscere ed equipaggiati a gestire situazioni di tale criticità. Appare fondamentale l’istituzione di un carrello per le emergenze , ben strutturato ed organizzato con la dotazione di  farmaci pronti all’uso.

Durante il corso verranno discussi  i parametri che è opportuno controllare alla poltrona per condurre una procedura odontoiatrica in sicurezza anche in pazienti con patologie sistemiche.

Vi sarà un approfondimento su quali siano i farmaci ed i dispositivi da avere nel proprio studio per la gestione delle emergenze  e le indicazioni terapeutiche alla somministrazione dell’ossigeno.

The Master Class of Cadaver Lab – Verona 2027 is a unique 2-days intensive training designed for implantologists, oral surgeons, and maxillofacial surgeons.
Hosted at the ICLO Teaching and Research Center in Verona, the course offers participants the opportunity to practice oral surgery, advanced implantology and reconstructive techniques under the guidance of renowned faculty led by Prof. Fabio Guerra from Brasil.

The program combines a theoretical lecture with practical cadaver dissections, ensuring each procedure is both explained and demonstrated in real conditions.
Participants will gain practical mastery in techniques such as zygomatic, transnasal, transinusal, and pterygoid implants, mandibular ramus and chin bone harvesting, sinus lifts, bone grafts with titanium mesh, nerve transposition and lateralization, as well as advanced soft-tissue procedures including bichectomy and lip lifting.
Each participant will work with high-quality anatomical specimens, complete with CT scans, ensuring a realistic and comprehensive surgical experience.

Registration includes access to teaching materials, surgical kits, disposable materials, catering, insurance, and a certificate of participation. Observers may also join, benefiting from lectures, live demonstrations, and access to the dissection room.

Le emergenze mediche nello studio dentistico rappresentano un problema di grande attualità per il medico odontoiatra che a volte può trovarsi nella necessità di dover intervenire in situazioni di emergenza per patologie direttamente o non direttamente correlate alla sua attività ma che interessano pazienti che in quel momento si trovano nel suo ambulatorio e necessitano di un intervento medico urgente. La capacità di selezionare, riconoscere e trattare un paziente a rischio è, dunque, di fondamentale importanza per ridurre ulteriormente l’incidenza di eventi avversi nello studio odontoiatrico.
