2004, Dr. Bogdan Bâldea graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, “Victor Babeș” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timișoara (UMFT). Following his graduation, he combined academic and clinical practice, serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry at UMFT (until 2013), while focusing his clinical work on prosthetic dentistry and implant-supported restorations.
His professional qualifications include recognition as a specialist in Oral Surgery (2008), certification as a specialist in Prosthetic Dentistry (2012), and completion of his PhD in Dental Sciences (Summa cum Laude, 2013). In 2017, he was appointed Associate Professor at the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemițanu” in the Republic of Moldova.
Dr. Bâldea has actively contributed to interdisciplinary fundamental research programs and holds a patent for glass fiber–reinforced dental composites. He is co-author of 3 books and 16 scientific papers, including 9 articles in international ISI-indexed journals, and has delivered presentations at more than 200 national and international conferences in the fields of biomaterials, prosthetic dentistry, and implantology.
