Dr. Roberto Barone, graduated at the University of Florence (Italy) in 1982. He got his specialty in Dentistry in 1987 in the same University. He works in Florence, his practice is exclusively limited to oral surgery and implantology. Founder of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery (SICO) in 1990, of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) in 2015, and of the Academy for Pediatric Oral Surgery (APOS) in 2016. President of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery in the years 1999-2000. Current president of the Academy for Pediatric Oral Surgery (APOS). Author of scientific articles in the field of oral and implant surgery and of the books: “Denti del giudizio inclusi” (Impacted third molars) and “Le cisti dei mascellari” (Cysts of the jaws). He has been teaching oral surgery and implant surgery and has been organizing for over 20 years an annual course in oral surgery and several courses in implant surgery and pediatric oral surgery. Speaker in over 500 courses and conferences on topics of oral and implant surgery.
