Dr. Vittorio Cacciafesta received his dental degree from the University of Naples “Federico II”, Italy. He subsequently pursued advanced training in orthodontics, serving as a Research Fellow at the Department of Orthodontics, Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany (1995–1996), and completing his Orthodontic Residency and Master of Science in Orthodontics at Aarhus University, Denmark (1996–1999). He also holds a PhD in Biotechnology of Dental Materials. Dr. Cacciafesta is a specialist in orthodontics with extensive expertise in invisible and lingual techniques, including Invisalign, FAS, Incognito, and WIN systems. He currently practices in Milan, Italy, and in the United Kingdom. He is a former President of the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO) and has served as Assistant Secretary of the European Federation of Orthodontics (FEO). He has authored over 100 scientific publications, as well as books and book chapters. His clinical and research interests focus on biomechanics, bonding materials, lingual orthodontics, TADs, and multidisciplinary treatments.
