Graduated with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Bologna , he attended various specialization courses in Italy and abroad.
He has carried out clinical research and teaching roles in the Periodontology Department of the Dental Clinic of the University of Bologna, as tutor, fellow and adjunct professor of periodontology and implantology.
Teaching assignment at University Postgraduate Masters in periodontology and implantology in Turin, Florence, Bologna, Ferrara, Padua.
Past President of SIdP (Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology) of which he has been an active member since 1992 and in which he has held various institutional roles:

He works as a freelancer in Bologna as Medical Director of COS CENTRO ODONTOIATRIC SFORZA in association with other colleagues, dealing exclusively with periodontology, implantology, oral surgery and prosthetics for the treatment of complex interdisciplinary cases.
