Camilla Ottesen is a 30-year-old PhD student living in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is an outgoing and smiling person with a burning heart for research. She works at the department of Oral Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health & Science, University of Copenhagen and at the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Copenhagen University Hospital. She is during her studies supervised by Professor Klaus Gotfredsen and DDS, Dr. Odont, Senior Maxillofacial Consultant Morten Schiodt. Dr. Ottesen has conducted research within the field of medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) since 2014 in collaboration with Morten Schiodt and his MRONJ-research group. She was a research-year student back in 2014-2015, graduated from University of Copenhagen in 2016 and started her PhD in February 2018, titled: Influence of antiresorptive drug holiday in cancer patients needing tooth extraction and oral rehabilitation of these patients.
