Nicola Cross is a GDC registered specialist in Oral Surgery, working within the Public Dental Service and Secondary Care Oral Surgery services within Glasgow Dental Hospital and School. She is also an Honorary University Clinical teacher with Glasgow University. She completed a Masters degree in Dental Implantology with the University of Central Lancashire in 2012 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Conscious Sedation in Dentistry with Newcastle University in 2015. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and acts as convenor for the MFDS Part 1 examination, as well as examining locally and internationally for the MFDS Part 2 examination. She has a clinical interest in complex implantology and grating cases requiring a multidisciplinary approach and is heavily involved in the undergraduate implant teaching programme, alongside training of speciality registrars.
