Dr. Thomas T. Nguyen is a full-time faculty in Periodontology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he teaches both pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels. Dr. Nguyen received his dental degree (DMD) from the University of Montreal. He subsequently completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at the University of Rochester, a Master of Science (MSc) in Craniofacial Tissue Engineering at McGill University, and his training in Periodontology at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Nguyen is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He maintains a clinical practice limited to periodontology and implantology in the Faculty Group Practice at the Harvard Dental Center. Dr. Nguyen’s clinical and research interests include the use of innovative concepts and technologies to enhance treatment outcome and patients’ experience. He is involved in research related to implant dentistry, soft and hard tissue regeneration, digital dentistry and artificial intelligence.
