Prof. Andrzej Wojtowicz is a graduate of the Medical Academy in Warsaw, later the Medical University of Warsaw. Prof. Andrzej Wojtowicz worked at the Biostructure Center of the Medical University of Warsaw, at the Department of Histology and Embryology, then at the Central Tissue Bank, where he obtained the title of doctor of medical sciences and habilitation. Member of the Polish Dental Association, the European Society of Tissue Banks, IADR, where in 2002 he appeared at the main session as an invited speaker. He is the honorary president of PTCHjU (PTCHSiS), the Polish Association of Dental Implantology OSIS, a member of the European Center for Stem Cell Therapy, a former member of the board of EDI, a former member of the board of EAO. Scientific interests of prof. He is research on the physiology and pathology of tooth eruption, bone tissue remodeling in physiological pathological conditions, drug interactions with bone tissue metabolism, and bone substitute preparations.
