The reason why this website was born

This website is a planner — a calendar of dental events where professionals interested in studying and specializing can find training opportunities in the different fields of dentistry.

Zerodonto Academy is a user-generated content website, too. What does it mean? It means that people who visit this website decide what to see and what to read because they are the authors of the website. It is a planner full of dental events added by users. Added by you.

In our opinion, the best way to make a planner work fine is to allow people contributing. All those speakers who would like to see their event on the planner, add it after registering a free profile. Simple. The same can be done by event planners, companies, dental schools, dental colleges, universities, etc.

Why did we create Zerodonto Dentistry like this?

Facebook inspired us. We manage a massive community on that social network, called Zerodonto Dentistry. Every day, moderating posts, we can see that many many colleagues and event planners try to post flyers, posters, info related to events they create, lecture at, and so on. Users on their own try to share and advertise dental events. But that group was born to share clinical case reports, discuss, not to show posts on dental events and stuff like that!

How to combine the freedom of the users and the possibility to make an event easily findable, visible, without allowing users spamming in our group? People demonstrated that they want to share their events on the web, basically they want to make dental events noticeable.

We know that social networks, especially the communities on Facebook, hide contents that are not viral, that are not advertised, that are overtaken by other better contents every second. And that’s it, we decided to create Zerodonto Dentistry. Our purpose is to make it an international point of reference to find dental events.
