Dr. Teresa Chanting Sun is a full-time specialist limiting her practice in periodontology and implantology at Mackay Memorial Hospital, Department of Periodontology in Taipei, Taiwan. She is also a clinical instructor in the Department of Periodontology at National Defense School of Dentistry, Taipei, Taiwan. Starting from September 2019, she began her ITI Scholarship year in Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA. Dr. Sun is a Diplomate of both the American and Taiwanese Board of Periodontology. She holds her D.D.S. degree from China Medical University, Taichung city, Taiwan. Dr. Sun also received both her Advanced Education Certificate and Master of Science degree in Periodontology from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Boston, USA. Dr. Sun is currently a reviewer for Journal of the Taiwan Academy of Periodontology and Journal of Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. In recent years, Dr. Sun has enjoyed teaching, published clinical research papers and lectured nationally and internationally on periodontology and implantology.
